Family Preservation Festival - Washington DC - August 15-16 - Critical National Civil Rights Event

As many of you may already know, the 2008 Family Preservation Festival, a national civil rights event, will take place on Friday, August 15th and Saturday, August 16th in Washington, DC. Your attendance and participation at this very important event is both necessary and needed. Throughout history, there have been some defining moments that have changed the course of our country and this event has the potential to strengthen and propel the family rights movement into that category.

Your attendance is necessary because few of the many people harmed by our current state and federal government practices are making the sacrifices necessary to bring about the change that will stop these injustices and save our children, our communities and our country. The few people that are driving this movement expend much time and money often placing themselves in financial and personal turmoil. These people are our best chance of lifting ourselves up out of this quagmire and we need to support and help in whatever ways we can. Otherwise, at some point, these leaders are likely to get frustrated and burned out. None of us can afford to let that happen!

Your attendance is needed because of the strength that comes with numbers, the support that we gain from each other, the knowledge that empowers and motivates us to action and the perception of the media and other stakeholders that could potentially help this movement move forward and achieve success sooner rather than later.

For those that can come to DC on Thursday, August 14th, a group of people will be meeting with and distributing literature to Congressmen and their staff.

Torm Howse, one of our visionary leaders, has assembled a masterful guide to help make this trip possible for everyone. Whether you can come one day or both days makes no difference, but your appearance does and will make the difference.

Please take just a moment and visit the links below and find out how you can show your support that is both necessary and needed. Alone we struggle, but together we can thrive once again.

Also, please show your financial support with a contribution of $5 or more to help cover the cost of the necessary promotional expenses.
